On September 22, 2023, State Representative Tony McCombie (R) announced the appointment of ISACo President Matthew Prochaska to the Illinois Flag Commission. The purposes of the Illinois Flag Commission are to create new State flag designs and make suggestions to the General Assembly concerning whether the current State flag should be replaced with a redesigned State flag. President Prochaska’s term will last three years and take effect immediately. House Representative McCombie serves as the Minority Leader of the House.
